The aim of Dubai International Academy Model United Nations (DIAMUN) is for students from around the world to come together - to collaborate, discuss and debate current world issues in order to arrive at feasible and effective solutions.

Collaborating to Foster Sustainable Development

The DIAMUN 23 theme was initially inspired by SDG goals 8 and 11, and also links to SDG goals 7, 9, 12 and 13. These goals call for an inclusive society with strong institutions that provide the foundation for sustainable development for all as well as building resilient infrastructure and fostering sustainability. These SDGs highlight the importance of resilience and the need to ensure that sustainability is always fostered in today's advanced world to make the world a better place in all aspects.

The DIAMUN Conference

DIAMUN is a 3-day prestigious conference that offers students the opportunity to debate and collaborate with delegates both locally and internationally. Bringing together over 1000+ delegates a year, it is for sure an experience of a lifetime! It is a place where knowledge and culture can be learned from one another, and fruitful discussions occur in committee.

The social event is also a major aspect of DIAMUN which usually occurs on the 2nd night of the conference. During this event, MUN directors, delegates, admins, and the press corps are all able to gather together to enjoy a memorable night filled with food, music, and dance! It is where everyone can socialize and communicate with each other to build connections for a lifetime!
